New Virus Prevention Application

Hi,

Recently I picked up two nasty viruses from inserting infected USB
disks into my PC. Wasted hours of my time to resolve.

Therefore to prevent this from happening again, I developed a small
application that sits in your task bar and does the following:

* Monitors insertion of disk drives into the PC and disables auto-run
if found

* User customisable commands can be executed when a disk drive is
inserted - e.g. run virus scan on inserted disk

* Monitors key system areas for changes to dangerous

* Can quarantine any dangerous file

* Monitors key registry changes

* Monitor start-up folders for changes

* Monitor Windows firewall for changes

* Fully logs any changes that occur

* Fully customisable so that you can turn on and off monitored areas,
quarantine and notifications

* No subscription costs and no database updates required

* Simple and quick to disable quarantine and notifications

You can download it from:
http://www.lightningware.co.uk/software/details.asp?code=LWS-VMON

The app is free for 30 days and then has a very small registration
cost that just covers the hours and hours of work put into it.

Thanks,

Gazza

If you examine PaPa G's profile, you will see he joined that
Usenet-scraping forum a couple days ago, and has sent the exact same
spam to 19 different newsgroups so far. Reported.

Learn how to spell trojan.

So what's in it for him by posting that stuff here?

What's in it for any spammer?

In his spa^H^H^Hblog, he seems to be pimping electronic equipment of all
types, by brand and model, so there must be some financial gain
somewhere. His blog profile indicates he is a 20-year-old from India.
His two blogs are both new in late Febraury.

Hi Guys,

I don't know where you get your facts but I have only placed one post
on here. I don't spam as I completely and utterly disagree with it.

When ever I hit a problem like streaming movies to the Xbox or
contracting a nasty virus I write an application to help prevent/fix/
assist me in future. Then to benefit others I release it on my
website, take a look if others have had similar problems and reply to
them and finally post a single post in the Google forum associated
with the problem.

I have a very small registration cost of the software after an initial
30 day trial which just covers the months of effort that go into it
and the continued support.

Thanks for your posts.

Gary

P.S. I have no relationship to the second post from PaPa G advertising
his blog.

Cheers,
