New update to MS anti-spyware

I get the notice that the new update is available and
click yes to update it but nothing happens. Should I un-
install, download the new version and install it again?

Your choice. You can either wait until the offer is made again--in my
experience it will be.

Or you can go directly to the download site and download and upgrade.

If you do download and upgrade, I'd advise deleting
\windows\system32\gcUnCompress.dll before you do the upgrade.
