I picked up a Cisco SG200-24 for the office and an MSI GeForce 970 for my monster home machine. The office has been in desperate need for a large switch to replace the ASUS router I have very poorly holding things together. This baby has 24 ports that can be individually configured. The last time I touched a Cisco switch was in 2011. Maybe I'll get it to catch fire.

The 970 was a pull from another machine that failed. Something something magic smoke.

Nice one :D. I've got a 960 and it runs everything I want, so I'm sure the 970 will serve you really well :).

It's good to see that the Cisco SG200-24 has plenty of PoE ports - I only started using PoE a few years ago, but it's incredibly handy to have. I just wish more things supported it!

This is the battlestation. I have to work on the display port function out of the card so I can get my projector connected. It didn't play well with the TV on the wall, which was the preferred setup. 2 x 23" Hannspree LED screens and an Insignia 36" TV. I plan to swap the 36" for something in the 55" to 60" range. Looks like Christmas time is the best time to score something like that.

I was just re-reading the specs and notice that you've not got an SSD as the OS drive - that would make a huge difference and an excellent upgrade :D.
