New to forms custioms

B

Brian Shafer

Hello,
I am new at doing this, use to have an access database that did this for me.
But I have several problems so far. I modified the contacts form, renamed
p2 to special dates. Added Spouse, SpouseDOB, Child1, Child1DOB, Age.
Ok, the first question is:
1) How do I make the background look like the other tabs?
2) How can I make all contacts contain this new tab, looks like only the one
I was testing on is showing it?
3) Can I add VB or VBA code to automatically calculate the Age from the DOB?
Thanks,
Brian Shafer

Brian, I can relate.
I too have worked a lot in Access and have to do a few items in Outlook.
You must publish the form, otherwise it is one of a kind. The data is stored
with the form in Outlook, not like Access tables. Then I heard that there is
some code to change existing contacts to be stored with the new form.
Otherwise only the new contacts will use it. Going through the same thing.
