New SP2 Desktop Icons?

After succesfully installing service pack 2 I noticed that many of the icons
on my desktop had been updated. For example all of the folder icons were
displayed as blue transparent folders. I wanted to change my theme however
and lost the new icons. How do I find these newer icons so that I can
display them again?

This hasn't happened on any of the approx. 100 systems I've updated. Do
you have third-party theme software installed?

I did have a third-party theme download installed. When I put Service Pack 2
into play however, that third party software no longer would work and so I
uninstalled it. That is when the new SP2 icons disappeared. If I were to
browse for them could I find a .dll file that has the new icons within it?

I doubt it. I think those new icons came with your third party theme,
because SP2 doesn't make any icon changes. If you like themes and
customizing Windows, www.wincustomize is a great place to start.
Stardock makes some nice window/desktop enhancements, too.
