Realtek is ALWAYS slow. Actually, today the download was relatively (for
Realtek) fairly snappy.

Yes, in Taiwanese, that means that you have to run the file twice -- the first
time to remove the older drivers, reboot, run the file again, and reboot again
to complete the installation and fully install the new drivers.

well i'm back where i started for some reason the old drivers came back on
so i had to removed them again and now i will have to reboot for a third
time, and i have to download the file again this time i said save, cuz i'm
tired of waiting for this stupid file, and i wrote a complaint to realtek to
tell them to increase the download speed.

When you right click on the red speaker icon in the Notification Area and select
Sound Manager (or Control Panel [Classic view] > Realtek HD Audio Manager), it
provides a nice graphical interface and many more options to configure the
device and when you click the "Device advanced settings" link in the upper right
corner, there are settings not available in the Recording devices setting of
Control Panel > Sounds.

but does it increases or helps increases the volume or it's only settings
cuz i diable it from starting but the volume on my pc isn't as high as i'd
like and i disable the manager to run cuz of the ram and i don't like the
icon in the taskbar but i might put it back on, if it's helpfull for the
sound

If you don't like the icon in the Notification Area, then you can get to the
Realtek HD Audio Manager through Control Panel.
