new messages not in inbox

Sometimes when sending and receiving the bottom right tray syas that there
are new messages. The problem is that there are not as many new messages in
any folder of mine.

Any help?

It may have been a spam message. Did you look in your Junk E-mail folder?

Who provides your email service? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
