New messages delivered to outbox

New messages are now being deposited in the outbox in my Outlook 2007
program. They always went to the inbox, where they were supposed to go, but
a few days ago they started to be routed to the outbox even though the
program is set up for new messages to go to the inbox. Can anyone help me
with this problem?

What type of account? Try starting Outlook once with the /resetfolders and
/resetfoldernames command switches. Click Tools>Account Settings and on the
E-mail Accounts tab check the delivery folder of the account in question.
