HELP,I dont know what I'm doing,trying to connect two computers,both have xp
home ethernet ports, phone modems,using sbc for ISP.what do I need to set
this up ? Cost is an issue.

Hello racecarr,
You can use the Wizard to hook a home network. First you need a
router to run your DSl to and then hook your main pc to it. To make your home
network secure you need a router. The router will come with software that
will walk you through it . Best of luck to you.

If you want to connect two computers together (but not to the internet) then
a special crossover cable is the simplest solution. You just buy a crossover
cable and connect both PCs.
