Cloning, as you say Back Vista version is the better option and I agree
Acronis True Image is well worth looking at. Of course, with some 'retail'
boxes (as opposed to OEM), the disk manufacturer includes cloning software
and, in most cases, this will be a 'lighter' version of Acronis; so if the
disk manufacturer is using Acronis then you can't get a better
recommendation than that for this particular software. I personally use
Acronis True Image all the time.
