New HD - Ghost Run

I installed my new drive, and ran Norton Ghost, cloned my
old 8GB HD to my new 80GB HD. all the copying went well,
then i switched my HD's around on my ide line and made my
new one the master. I need to run anouther repair
install i guess since the thing says to boot from cd: I
do that but the xp install thing says it needs the full
xp install disk, i did it before w/ the upgrade and it
worked. How do I keep the new drive as master on primary
and clear my old HD for extra storage?

Boot with just the new drive attached, there is a signature on the drives and windows still sees the
old one as the boot drive. This is how I have changed hard drives in the past. Windows will see the
new hard drive install the drivers and then ask you to reboot. Reboot make sure all is well, then
shut down adn add the old harddrive to the system.

If you have an OEM CDROM (e.g., from Gateway, Dell, etc), those can NOT be
used to do a repair installation. They only support full installations,
meaning foramt first, install second.
