New hardware order for Skybuck's Dream PC (2006) ;)

1. Antec 1200 case. 1x.
2. Scythe zipang cpu cooler. 1x
3. 4x Artic silver (paste material)
4. 4 pin squared power extension (probably necessary) 1x
5. 20 pin atx power extension (doesn't seem like a long extension, just in
case) 1x
6. ide rounded cables. (1x 75 cm, maybe 1m ?)
7. extra long special sata cables. (2x 75 cm, 2x 1m)
8. extra molex connectors (5x should be enough).
9. Maybe extra long power cables... for drives and such ?

That should do it...

Ok,

To reduce costs a little bit, and too not get stuck with unnecessary things,
this is the final order (ordering at alternate.nl):

1. Antec 1200 case (1x), 149 euro.
2. Scythe Zipang cpu cooler (1x), 49 euro.
3. Artic Silver 5 (2x), 10 euro (together)
4. Rounded ide cable 60 cm (1x), 7 euro.
5. Special serial-ata cable 75 cm (2x), 11.80 euro (together).
6. Y-Powercable/splitter 20 cm (5x), 9.50 (together)
(Two extra or so might come in handy for other pc's sometime )
7. Floppy power extension for x-fi soundblaster in case it's needed (1x),
1.90 euro

Total: 238.20 euro. (Including taxes)

Plus transport costs and such: 252.70 euro.

What I left out:

8. 4 pin to 4 pin power extension.
9. 24 pin to 24 pin power extension.

These were not in supply and the new case probably don't need them.

If I route the power cables along the back they might be able to reach the
motherboard.

So I am taking this risk Maybe if I do need them the local pc shop might
have them otherwise I'll have to find them somewhere else on the net

Could I suggest a couple of additional items for the rebuild list.

8. Sodium Cynanide

Ok,

I got screwed a bit.

The 7 item is not the correct item.

I need a 4 pin floppy power cable extension cord.

That would make thing so much easier.

So my build will have another day of delay.

First I really want a decent floppy power cable extension cord !

Tomorrow I got phone the local pc shop.

If they don't even have a simple thing like this then oh boy then they
truely a bunch of idiots..

Actually I am getting bad feeling about this lol.

I better go search online for a decent cable
