new hardware... old files?

I recently upgraded my motherboard, video card, and processor.

I can't access my old "my documents" or any of that type in "c:/documents
and settings/nick" It says access denied every time i try. Even if I try and
delete the stuff... just to clear up some disc space ( i had a lot of stuff
in there. )

I also tried to do regular support thru microsoft, but apparently i'd have
to go thru my original manufacturer for that. I'm afraid that because I've
upgraded they wouldn't help me at all.

If anybody could help me, that'd be pretty darn awesome.
