new hard drive

I bought Windows Vista HOME PREMIUM and put it on a old hard drive . That HD
crashed so I gave up and got a new had drive. I loaded the same Vista and
when I try to activate it--- it said that number was in use and in a little
while it may stop working.

Computer is a --AMD 2000+ 1gb ram 250mb video card so it runs good.

I am 80 years old and cant go out and buy a new vista DVD .I should have not
got this one.

How to you get to talk to someone on the phone so I can get it activated?

Try to activate again...
when it fails, try the telephone option.
You will have to read a bunch of numbers to the robot, and answer a couple
of questions.
IF that fails, stay on the line, and someone will come on to assist you.

Run through activation again, when it fails it should give you the option to
use telephone support, first off it'll go through an automatic system again,
and no doubt fail. After that you'll be put through to a human being who
will get it sorted.
