Yes, I am. BitDefender. I did not have this problem with Outlook 2003 using
the same BitDefender. In fact, I had Outlook 2008 with BitDefender on an
older laptop until about a month ago and it worked fine. Since replacing my
laptop (with the same Vista and Office) a month ago, I have had this problem.
Go figure...
Thanks for taking an interest in this. Sounds like I'm not the only one
with the problem.

Are you using an antispam or antivirus filter on inbound mail?

I have the same problem with Outlook 2007. Using POP mail. Not exchange.
Among my 4 email accounts, a few emails do display on occassion. Not
consistently. I must click on another folder and then back to the inbox
folder to see the email messages listed.
:
New Email in Outlook won't display unless you click on another folder
then
click back on the Inbox. The folder summary shows the count of new email
but
the messages themselves don't show.
