New Email Window Fails to Paint (Possible Deadlock)

Opening a new email window when Outlook is starting or after it has just
started results in a new window which fails to paint - resulting in white
rectangle within borders. I think this is a deadlock because the winword.exe
process fails to show up in the processes list using taskman, this added to
the fact that the outlook.exe task cannot be terminated through taskman for
several minutes, without killing the thread through other means.

You didn't post any information here like at least your Outlook version. My
guess would be that is caused by a faulty add-in.
