New connection wizard

I am trying to set up a dialup connection thru the new
connection wizard. When I get to the type of connection
(dialup,or broadband) dial up is shown , but it won't let
me choose it. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a working modem? Is it showing up with no errors in device
manager?

You might want to verify that the Remote Access Connection Manager service
has started. I know that if this service is not started then you can
experience this type of behavior. KB article #281625 might also provide
some help.
