New Computer with Windows XP

W

Wayne

I have just bought a new computer from Costco - Windows
XP is installed and I assume activated. They said to go
to the Microsoft Website to download/learn about making a
recovery disk as I do not have Windows XP on a CD.

Any help would be much appreciated.

There is no feature in Windows XP to create a Recovery Disk.
Some computer manufacturers design that capability since they do not
provide CDs.

Since the Costco employee does not know about computers, I suggest
contacting the computer manufacturer directly and/or checking the
manual for Recovery CD creation.
