Networking Wizard grays out VPN

I am trying to set up a VPN connection on W2K Pro. When I
start the Network Connection Wizard and click on Next,
the "Connect to a Private Network" is grayed out. I have
a cable modem connection to the Internet. I WAS using a
Cisco client to connect prior. I want to use W2K VPN
instead. I also have a netgear router. Anyone know why
or what I need to do so that I can continue with the
setup? Thanks.....

Did you ever resolve this issue ? I'm having a similar problem. No Cisco
issues, but Win2k/SP3 has grayed out VPN option. Works OK when SP4
installed, but SP4 gives me other nightmares.
