Networking Win2K and WinME - please help

Greetings to all:


I have a Win2k server and a WinMe workstation. I can use PCAnywhere
to get from one to the other, I can even ping them from the other, but
when I click on my Network Neighborhood and navigate down to my
workgroup name, I only see my server when I'm on my server. I've
checked, and yes the workgroup name is the same for both. I know I
must be overlooking something simple, but can't figure out what it is.
Please Help!

It is only simple when you know how....

The drives on the server and ME need to be set for sharing.

You also need a proper hosts, lmhosts, and a network, files... located in
the root windows me directory and in \winnt\system32\drivers\etc on the
server

All of these files have no dot extension.

Try that for a start at it. There are sample files etc.
