see above image

I have a long cable that has pairs of colors inside
that are twisted in pairs.
blue, white blue
green, white green

etc.

Does it matter how I arrange these cables on the screws as seen in the image
above?
(That thing with the screws is actually a female socket that gets mounted on
the wall.)

Because I think that they are twisted to avoid cross-talk but I have no idea
on
in what sequence I must put them on the screws.

This is not a crossover cable.. so I just make sure that they are in the
same sequence..
but I think I am having troubles with the crossoever...

I have checked the cables with a electric meter and I have seen that they
are correct electric wise...

Any advice?

Thanks

John,

Setting up a network is a lot of fun. Building a cable is fun that you should
avoid, until you have everything else working anyway.

The twists in the cable are functional, and they are essential. Untwist just
one turn too many, and the cable may work not at all, or sometimes. The colours
are essential too. See my article.

Yes I searched google with better keywords, after I posted, and I found the
correct information along with images.

Yes.

For standard Ethernet there are two pairs used, a transmit pair and a
receive pair. These are normally the orange and green pairs. It would still
work if you used different pairs (though that is bad practice as it will
confuse anyone working on the system later) - However what will NOT work is
if either the transmit or receive signal uses conductors from two separate
pairs.

Gigahertz systems use all four pairs, and in this case things must be
exactly right.

If you look closely at the cable you'll see that each pair haa a different
pitch of twist - this is to minimise crosstalk. As far as possible you should
maintain the twist-pitch right up to the terminals.
