network two pc together using wireless broadband ?

Hello,

I need a bit of help here. I have recently got wireless broadband
(Orange Livebox). My father has his PC downstairs with a Belkin USB
adapter to get the signal from the livebox. I have my PC upstairs and
also have a Belkin USB adapter to get the signal from the livebox too.

My question is, can i link the 2 PC's together using the Belkin USB
adapters wirelessly ?, i.e. can he have access to my picture files and
mp3's and can i have access to his ?

If this is possible then how do i do it ?

the computers are already connected via the wireless router...

I am assuming you have XP, so just right click on the folder you want to
share on the network and go to properties> sharing and share the folders you
want
on both computers

then go to open MY COMPUTER and on the right task pane you will see
View network connections, press that, then again on the right you will see
My workgroup computers
you should be able to see your computer and the other computer...

click on the icon of the other computer and navigate in the folder that is
shared to see the files.
