Network Printing

I have a laptop and a desktop. The desktop is running xp pro, the laptop is
running xp home edition. I have a wireless network, or mshome network which,
after figuring out the old IRPSTACKSIZE problem, works beautifully. I can
get files from either machine on either machine - no problem. What I can't
seem to do is get my laptop to find and use the default printer in the office
- an HP Laserjet 4000. I have tried the little "add a printer" wizard but
without success. Please help!

Go to your network connections folder, (On pc with modem)
Right click your internet connection icon and click
properties.
Click on the netwrok tab and tick the "file and printer
sharing from microsoft networks" box
Hope this works

I'm guessing the 4000 at work is connected by Ethernet and not attached to a
PC? If so, there are 2 possible ways to install it.

1. Install the LJ 4000 driver as a local printer (non plug and play),
create a TCP port and copy the port settings from another computer there (or
get from the network admin). OR

2. Download and use the HP Network Printer Wizard to install it. See
