Network Printing Access issue

I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise server functioning as File and Print server
at one of our locations. Lately people started to complain that they get
error "Access denied, unable to connect" while opening print queue for any of
the printers on this server. This issue does not exist on other print servers
in our environment. If I am accessing the printers via share, I get the same
issue, if I am going into Printers and Faxes via share, I don't see any
printers. Nevertheless, if I am accessing the server via remote desktop,
everything works just fine. Everyone is still able to print, but no one can
see print jobs in the queues, leave alone deleting jobs if needed.
I checked the permissions and they all look fine, at least I could not
notice any differences.
Please let me know if you've seen similar issues or aware of any fixes for
this problem.
Thank you,
Slava

this is a client issue. The spooler service on the server is getting access
denied when communicating with the clients. If you have been locking down
the clients this can cause the server access issue.

I think I found it. The desktop group policy has "Access this computer
from the network" set to only Administrators. When I added
Users it worked. So the User needs to be able to access his own PC over
the network. Who would think.

Thanks for your help!
