Network printer: "Access denied. Unable to connect"

In two w2k, router and a printer networked like:
Printer-W2K1-router-W2K2
printer is shared on w2k1 and installed as network printer on w2k2

Right after the successful installation on w2k2 the printer shows up on the
printer list, and right-click-Propeties shows its properties

However an attempt to print a document cause no reaction except
the printer statuse change from Ready to "Access denied. Unable to connect"
and a Warning in the Event Viewer:
The redirector was unable to initialize security context or query context
attributes.

After that the priner properties became anaccessable:
Printer properties cannot be displayed. Operation could not be comleted.

What should I do?

Try printing while logged on with a user account that exists on the other
PC.

Do you mean that on w2k2 I need to use the same login and pw as I have on
w2k1?
If so, on w2k1 I have only the administrator account

Also, if it is relevant, my network setup does not ask to login into the
network. It only asks to login into Windows.

Also my current set up allows to acces files on the other computer
Does accessing a printer require different login?

Access to resourses requires a valid user account and password. In a peer
to peer environment, you need to use a valid user account on the PC hosting
the resource.

Logging on to the workstation is the same as logging on to the network.

Thanks, Rob.
1. Should I understand that if I log in into w2k as Admin, I cannot access
resources on this w2k from another computer?
2. If this is correct, does it apply to printers only? For I can access
drives (although not reliably)?
