Network not working after installing wireless adapter

Hi all,

I've 2 desktops both running Windows 2000 professional. I've been using a
D-Link DI-624 router (wireless router with 4 port switch) using wire
connection for networking and working really well with no problem in the
past 6 months. i.e. both computers can share files and access to internet
without problem.

Recently, I purchased a DWL-G520 wireless PCI adapter and plug it into one
computer (guest PC). After all the set up completed, both computers have
internet access but cannot see each other on "Computer Near Me" anymore. The
message I got is "Workgroup is not available. An unexpected network error
occured." I can ping from the host PC to the guest PC but can't ping from
the other direction. I checked the "Local Area Connections" for both PC and
they have the same components (client for MS networks, File and Printer
Sharing, NetBeui, TCP/IP).

I tried to swtich back to the wire connection that I used before and
everything works okay. So I think the problem may be caused by some set up
issues on using a wireless network card (?).

Can someone help me out? I search the newsgroup and found some similar
issues but still can't figure it out.

Thanks advance for all your help.
