network neighborhood

Hello, I can not find network neighborhood icon on the
desk top. Have windows xp and want to connect with a
Linksys router, a PC and a Laptop making a network. How
can I find or install network neighborhood?

Hi,

This is changed in windows xp. click on the start menu
and then click on my network places, Now in the window
that appears, click on add network place and follow the
instructions of the wizard. Only after you create a
network you will see the new icon in the window.

Try Start --> Control Panel --> Display --> Desktop --> Customize Desktop
Button. Make sure My Network Places checkbox is checked.
