Network login problem

Windows 2000 environment. A user had changed his password
before leaving office and on the following day he could
not log back into the network system.
Domain name/ username/ new password all correct (user has
not changed them), DHCP lease correct,

What could be the problem?
How can I make the user log in back to the
network...........?
what steps to take.

Maybe he is not using correct password and changed to something other than what
he can remember. Look at his user accout properties to make sure account is not
locked out. It that is OK reset his password there. --- Steve
