Network Hard drive

I bought Network Hard drive , it is a encloser ,with its own power and
conneted to my wireless router (linkys) which should allow me to acess the
files on that drive from the internet. I am able to at home , when I am
connected to my router with my laptop to get and put files on that drive. Is
there a way to connect to the hard drive from anywhere that has internet?

Enclosure, I think you mean.

Why should it? By default, it wouldn't.

Perhaps via VPN, or via remote desktop to your computer if you run XP Pro,
or via GoToMyPC or similar if you don't.

Make sure you've got a good firewall (not just a NAT device!) and you've
secured your wireless via WPA+PSK at minimum.

Hi
There few ways to do so.
My favorite is to use a free Remote Control progarm (UltraVNC) that has a
special module for File Transfer.
UltraVNC has also an encryption module that makes the transfer safe.
This page describes options to connect to your Network through the Internet,
http://www.ezlan.net/myip.html
UltraVNC here, http://www.ezlan.net/vnc.html
Setting the system this way makes me independent from using other services
as a proxy to my traffic.
