Network connectibity problem, inbound connections refused

J

Jeremy Brown

Small network with four PCs, 2 2k + 2 XP. Two of the pcs (both XP, 1 home &
1 pro) show up in network places but refuse to allow inbound connections,
but will connect to to the third (2K). The fourth (Also 2K) will not browse
the network at all and does not show up in my network on other machines.

Shares are set, user have rights, permissions are granted, all are on the
same switch/router (linksys g wireless, two wired & two wireless) and
recieve their IP from its DHCP server. I also added each of them to the
others hosts file.

Does any one have any ideas?
