network card drivers

Hi,

I just changed my OS from 2000 to XP.

I had broadband internet with 2000 that worked fine. When
I log on using XP I cant access the internet. I phone up
NTL who are my ISP and they said I needed to install new
drivers for my network card that support Windows XP.

Does anybody now how or where I can get these from, and if
I need to find out the name of my network card, how do I
do it?

Thankyou.

Open Device Manager (Start | Run | devmgmt.msc) and click the "+"
sign next to "Network adapters" to see the name of the network card.
Then, right-click the card and click Properties to see if XP thinks
that it's working properly.

If it isn't, right-click and delete the network card, then click
Action | "Scan for hardware changes" to get XP to re-install it. XP
has built-in drivers for most network cards. If it doesn't have
drivers for yours, use another computer to go to the manufacturer's
web site and download the XP driver for your card to a floppy disk.

I checked the device manager in XP and it says there is
nothing wrong with my network adapters, but it says I
haven't got drivers for my:

Ethernet Controller
RAID Controller
SM Bus Controller

My motherboard is a ASUS A7N8X. Can I download the drivers
from www.asus.com?
