hello,

i have a problem with a win2k professional. the pc is
joined to the domain. the client logs on localy. from two
days ago, he couldn't brows the domain. When he clicks my
network places ,entire network, entire content, ms win
network, (domain icon), he gets a message saying the
server is not configured for transactions.
And when he searches for a computer he finds it but must
provide a username and password!
Also when i log on with any domain user i can see the
network Pcs normaly.

i need help ASAP.

Hi Aly,

This is probably, because you were hit by a virus. There is a virus out
there, that deletes all admin shares and IPC$ share. The error you are
getting is because you are missing a IPC$ share. You can recreate the share
by issuing
net share IPC$
from your command prompt, but scan your system for viruses.
