Hello you all,
I'm running a network with approx 20 clients (WIN XP SP1) on a WIN2000
domain.
From time to time, I get an error message while trying to browse the network
on a client-machine.
(Domain <domain-name> is not available or you do not have the rights...bla
bla).
When I do a reboot of the same machine, and logon to the network again with
the same user, browsing succeeds.
So, according to me, it is not a problem of not enough rights to do the
browsing.
Also the option of the network being down can be excluded, because on the
other clients, browsing succeeds at the very same time.
Also all the shared drives on the network are available on the
"problem-machine" at that time!!
The problem is not machine-related, because I get the error on different
machines, on different times.
Anybody any idea what could be the reason of this strange problem?????
Regards,
