I'am tryin to setup a home network with two computers. Both are hooked up to
a Linksys router and have internet access, and have Norton Internet Security
installed. After running the network setup wizard I still can't share files
and it does not show any computers listed when I view workgroup computers.
Is there something that I'm missing here that I need to configure or change.

Norton Internet Security may be blocking the network access. Try your

Certain versions of NIS have a "Home network Wizard" that automatically
detects the network and adds the IP to the trusted zone.

how about temporarily disabling both firewalls. then have you ensured that
both computers have been setup for the same workgroup. then begin searching
your entire network via my network places.....
