Netscape 7.01 won't allow me to download anymore

Somehow I must have screwed up. I use Netscape 7.01 as my default
browser and all of a suddent when I try to download anything from any
Netscape webpage, nothing happens. It says "loading" and then
nothing. If I open IE, I have no problems downloading the same files
.... but I don't like IE. Any suggestions on what may have happened or
how I can fix it? Thanks ... Michael Mauzey

Contact Netscape for support on their product. This has nothing to do with
windows xp.

I realize that but hoped someone was smart enough and nice enough to
help anyway ... not you for sure.

I prefer Netscape myself. Here's a newsgroup you can subscribe to.
They will be more helpful over there:

secnews.netscape.com

This is a dedicated Netscape/mozilla server, not usenet.

Since this is a windows xp newsgroup most do not use netscape. This is why
no one answered you. For a better shot at getting a correct answer you
should post your questions to the correct related newsgroup. This is why
there are thousands of newsgroups, so you can find the correct one for your
topic or problem of choice. All I was doing was giving you some sound advice
on how to get newsgroup support, but since you don't want to listen, I'll
try to help you here. Does this happen just on the netscape page or on any
web page? Did you try reinstalling netscape?
