Netorked Internet access request Dail-up connection.

I have a funny problem on one XP Pro PC. Whenever I use Internet Explorer
6.0, it request that I dial a connection. Since the PC is using an
networked high-speed Internet connection, I do not have a dial-up setting.
It still tries to use a VPN connection (dun) entry even-though it is
indicated "Do not dial a connection". What/where do I look to fix this?

That just it, the PC is not using VPN to gain access to the network. The PC
is part of my local network (192.168.254.xxx) and while trying to access the
Internet gateway 192.168.254.200, the dial-up networking is request that the
user select a connection to dial. However, since there is no dial-up
connection, only a list of VPN connections show up and the system is
requesting that the user dial one. Pressing Cancel will by-pass this and
let the Internet access thru. This is annoying.
