A user logs on with this error message "Netlogon service
is not running on this machine" How do I resolve this

Check the Net Logon service is running

try
Start
Run
type

services.msc


click OK

Navigate to

Net Logon

and ensure it's started and set to Automatic

This is usually caused by the inability to find a domain controller or if
the account or cached credentials become corrupted. First try removing the
machine from the domain and then add it back again to see if that resolves
the issue.
