Netlogon and SYSVOL permissions

I hope you can help, as MS web site didn't return much on this.

What are the risks of changing the Netlogon and SYSVOL permissions to
Domain Admins = Full and Authenticated Users = Read? Are there any
known problems including pre-Windows 2000 client access?
