This is continued from an earlier thread. In order to fix the error I was
getting while trying to install a program that read "MS .Net Framework - The
feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package
NETFX.MSI in the box below" I attempted the recommended fix which was to
download and install .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1....well I tried it and
while it was installing I got the same message about not being able to find
NETFX.MSI
What is NETFX.MSI and how do I get it?
Yes. You need the .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1. I think it is
probably safe to uninstall the 1.0 Framework.

dnamertz said:I checked in the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel and I
already have "Microsoft .Net Framework (English) v1.0.3705" and "Microsoft
.Net Framework 1.1".
I went to the Updates section of the Microsoft website and it said that
two
of the updates I need to download are "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.0
Service
Pack 3" and "Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1". However, I
have
Service Pack 2, so why would I need either of these?
