Netbios Over TCP/IP Disabled and GPO's

Is there issues Deploying Software using GPO's in a
network that runs on straight TCP/IP...We currently
disable Netbios Over TCP/IP on all of out corportate
PC's. I been trying to deploy certain software using the
GPO's but have been unsuccessfull.

Not that I know of. It should work. Group policy with disabled netbios is
being tested here at Microsoft.

Do you use policy setting DNS suffix search list? You might want to
configure it and see if it fixes your problem. It is under Computer
Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> DNS Client. If you
used the netbios names of the computers in the policy settings or in the
software package, than you need to configure DNS suffix search list in
Netbios-less environment.

Does the whole group policy fail or only Software Installation part?
