netbios apps

im looking for a list of apps that rely on netbios .... basically ive
found our main network dc has had wins disabled on it, dont know when ..
all other remote sites have this dc as their replicate with for their
wins servers and we are having some very odd network behavoir but not
sure if its related in any way

the network is pure w2k and uses exchange2k/outlook2k on multiple sites
across wan links .. office2k pro is main office suite and we use a
variety of other apps

anyone have a list of apps or can point me to a resource to find apps
that still require netbios/wins?

if we dont need it might as well be rid of it but half the network is
set to use it currently whilst the other half seems to have it disabled
- i prefer consistancy!
