net use question

Using the net use command within a domain to access a remote client not
being a member of any domain.
Trying to access an administrative drive with the command: net use z:
\\computer\d$ i get the following error msg:

Invalid password for computer\d$ (even if I have the right admin password)

Why does it ask for computer\GUEST account password ? GUEST account is
disable and dont want to use it anyway.

What did I miss ?

net use z: \\computer\d$ /user:computer\username *

It's also possible that the target computer is using 'Simple file
sharing' (unusual if it's in a domain though). This can be disabled in
XP from any EXPLORER window under Tools --> Folder Options --> View -->
Scroll to the bottom and deselect if set.
