Net send command error

Hi

i have a win 2000 server domain , when i try from any DC
to send message by the net commandor for example net send
A hi , where A is the reciptiones computer , but the
message fail to send telling is the message alias could
not be found , even when i manage that computer from the
AD , and try to send a console message it sys "not all
recipients received the message. , this could be due to an
invalid computer name , or because the recipient computer
is unavailable . , check each recipient computer name and
then re-send ", but this is wrong , the recipient name is
correct , so how can i recover that bug from the DC , i'll
appriciate any help on that .

Hello

Not an expert, can suggest you a some things:

* Check the Messenger service is running in the receiptents computer.
* There is a option with net send */domain* , try it.
* See that, there isnt any firewall blocking the messenger service ports.
