.net passport and msn messenger

S

simon duxon

Last night I closed my .NET passport and then reopened a
new .NET passport in the same email address. Got the
confirmation email, verified the account and then logged
in normally to zone.msn.com, messenger etc. Today,
messenger won't work - get a password error although I
know I'm putting a password in correctly and keep getting
the error "we could not sign you in because there is a
problem with your .NET passport. Click OK to learn more
at the .NET Passport website. 0x81000303". When I click
OK I get "Microsoft NET passport was temporarily unable
to complete your request".

Do you have any suggestions??

Greetings Simon,

The error code you've provided indicates that your password is incorrect. You might simply
try resetting it here:

If you're still having problems, you may need to contact Passport Services to see if anything
is wrong on their end:
