net neighbor not finding all net places

Config: win2k servers, AD, DNS, DHCP and Wins rnning and
working. Multiple Vlans in an Novell/MS mixed enviorment
with Cisco Routing and switched.

3 W2k servers all on same Vlan, Netbios over TCPIP running
on the NIC cards on all 3 servers.

From any Vlan:
I can ping SERVER A, B and C. Using NSlookup finds all
three. I can browse the domain and see all WSs and servers
except Server C. Doing a Windows type search for the
server gives a "not found" response. Since I can see the
entire domain from all 4 vlans except this one server I
conclude that wins/Cisco IP helper is working.

The DNS and Wins enteries are static entries and Server C
has a static IP. They have been triple checked for
accuracy.

Any Ideas what is wrong?

computer browser service running on server c? sounds fishy if you have
proper PTR records for the servers and have made no changes... can you hit
it by ip? if so, check the wins and make sure there is no foul play.

Could be the server is hidden.

Do a "net config server" from ServerC's command prompt.

Also:

try a "net view \\serverC" from another computer

Do a "ipconfig /all" from ServerC's command prompt.

Post results here if this doesn't resolve the problem.

Problem was File and Print Sharing not running on
invisible Server. F&P Sharing controls ports 137/138 which
handles WINS Broadcasts. Not The way I have been lead to
believe it should work BUT-------------
