.NET 1.1 on CD

Hi:

I need to get a CD copy of the .NET 1.1 "end user" not "development"
software on a CD. I use a dial up connection and the file is too long for
practical download. Please tell me how I can do this.

it comes on the latest XP install CD (in the perform additional task
section, when you install/upgrade)
otherwise you might find it on development magazine's CDs...

.... or get a friend with broadband to download it for you... and pop it on a
CD-R..?

The easiest way would be to find someone local that has a fast connection
and a CD burner.

I think you can order it but to spend the money and wait the time for the CD
to arrive usually isn't worth it.

Back when I was on dial-up and had a large file I wanted to download I'd
dial in just before I went to bed and start downloading then. By morning
the file was done. The .NET Framework is about 25MB - - that should
download completely while you sleep.
