nested groups

we are running a script which is checking the users groups
with ifmember. if they are member of a spezific group the
users get an icon on their desktop. if the user is not in
this group the icon is deleted. now we have the problem
that the user is member of a group which is member of the
needed group (nested). ifmember is not able to find this
nested group and the users desktop icon is deleted.
How can we solve this problem?

Ok, now its running. I used the Tool MemberOf and it works
fine!!!
