Windows XP Nero Window Opens on Startup

After I installed Nero 6 Ultra, everytime I startup, a Windows Explorer folder opens up on the desktop (C:\Progra~1\ahead\Nero)!

I have tried all the usual things, startup folder, registry RUN entries, startup entries in RegClean. Ahead TS were less than helpful. So anyone out there have any ideas?

Try running "msconfig" command from Run on the start menu. On the "startup" tab there should be an item that collocates to your Nero folder... try unticking it and see if that helps

Thanks Ian, that did the trick.

I don't know how I missed it before!

The guilty prog was mssysmgr.exe (a Nero Show Time File), I think it checks for media files.

It's back!

The entry has re-appeared in the startup list!

I have checked the registry for the file and there is nothing!

So back to the drawing board!

Apparently that file is associated with "PhotoShow Deluxe Media Manager" or "Nero PhotoShow Media Manager"... do you have that installed?
