Nero InCD now freeware?

Softpedia shows Nero InCD listed as freeware and the upload as January
29th, 2004 22:01. I have no way of confirming this as I already have
DirectCD installed and it can get wierd if you uninstall it, install
InCD, uninstall that and then reinstall DirectCD. So, can someone
confirm this? The url is:

It's probably mistake, but it would be a heck of a thing if you could
run DeepBurneror BurnXP and have packet writing to boot.

I tried to install the InCD and it told me I needed to have a registered
version of Nero or InCD installed. It abruptly aborted the install.

I figured it had to be too good to be true. Thanks for your effort

It is free only to regged version of Nero.

No big loss to me. I find InCD to be very unstable anyway. I wish BurnAtOnce
would include a little packet writer in their next release.

Why? From what I've seen, you end up losing roughly 1/4 to 1/3 of the
storage space on a cdrw when you "format" it for use with packet writing
software like InCD.

It's handy for RW's, where you re-use them anyway.
