OEM stuff should technically be sold with hardware, but they don't seem to be doing that

I thought it was illegal to sell it on its own? Its usually stated on the sleeve aint it?

That means they are taking out of packaging or being supplied with OEM software and making profit from it?

Just about every PC supplier does the same ... but someone like Nero doesn't really care as he is getting his software into more PCs ... and hoping you is gonna press the 'upgrade' button.

Nero has several OEM versions ... I can buy any OEM software and not have to buy anything else to satisfy that particular OEM licence in that regard .

You would be more surprised at the actual cost of Nero to the retailer ... I used to buy them for £1.50 to 'bundle' with my systems.
